Our Largest Fundraiser of the Year!
Join the Meadow Brook Elementary PTO for our annual Husky Hustle, a fun-filled community event and our biggest fundraiser of the year! 100% of the proceeds directly support impactful PTO initiatives that enhance the learning experience for our 500 students.
About the Hustle
Every year, our outstanding students walk through a local neighborhood, enjoying exciting activities along the way while being cheered on by friends, family, and neighbors. This event promotes fitness and community spirit, while also providing crucial funding for our school. Families, neighbors, and local businesses are all invited to pledge their support and join the Husky Hustle!

Why Support the Husky Hustle?

Meadow Brook Elementary proudly serves a diverse student body, creating a rich and dynamic learning environment. However, public school funding often doesn't fully cover the varied needs of our students. The Meadow Brook PTO is dedicated to bridging this gap, ensuring our school can provide access to essential resources, innovative programs, and vital support services.
Through your generous support of the Husky Hustle, we aim to raise $20,000 to directly fund:
Teacher Empowerment & Appreciation
Providing stipends for valuable classroom learning materials and offering meals and snacks to show our appreciation for their hard work.
Resource Accessibility
Equipping our students with essential supplies like books, updated technology, valuable virtual resources, and extra learning materials to address individual needs.
Enriched Curriculum & Cultural Experiences
Expanding horizons and fostering creativity through art programs, culturally significant events, enriching field trips, engaging author visits, music programs, and explorations of history and culture.
Stronger Community & Student Well-Being
Building lasting connections and a vibrant school environment through family-focused activities, beloved events like Literacy Night and the Spring Carnival, playground enhancements, and fun initiatives like "Popcorn Fridays."
Strategic Partnerships
Collaborating with other district schools and the MI Humanities Council to maximize the impact of our resources and provide diverse, curriculum-aligned learning opportunities.
